Dr hab. Eng., Professor at AGH University in the Department of Mechanics and Vibroacoustics. I graduated in Automatic Control and Robotics, and Mechanics and Machine Design, specialising in Vibroacoustics and Sound Engineering. I combine an engineering background with many years of musical and studio practice.

My research covers architectural acoustics, psychoacoustics, spatial audio perception, auralisation, Ambisonics and soundscape studies. I also develop machine-learning and AI applications for acoustic analysis, sound-source localisation and speech processing.

As a recording and sound engineer, I have co-created dozens of albums — from classical, choral and jazz music to folk and traditional music. In 2024 I received a Fryderyk award for the recording of songs by Władysław Żeleński.

I am Lemko and co-create initiatives supporting the Lemko language and culture. I co-founded the LEM.fm radio station and media group.
